About Hochstadt Family Circle
The Hochstadt Family was a very close-knit family after they immigrated to the US from Romania, with many families settling in Brooklyn, NY. This website was created to preserve our heritage and pass it on to future generations. We have recently changed the privacy settings to this existing website and changed the site administrator. Thank you immensely Joan Andromidas for all your hard work with this tree and the years put into it for us! If you have any questions, changes, or concerns please contact Pamela Renee Hochstadt Keller at pamrk39@gmail.com. In this new day and time, we have locked down this site to "invitation only" and have taken extra protections for children under 21. When you go to the Home page, you can request to be invited. We would like as many family members as possible to be able to request any changes for accuracy, request photo's to be added and tell stories to leave to future generations!

Family Members will be able to see everything on the site, but will not be able to make changes. Use the link on the Home page to submit any updates, pictures or stories. You can also email me at pamrk39@gmail.com

Non-Members will not see any family member information an limited unlabled photos in the slideshow. They will see a ‘limited’ Home page where they can request to become a member. Currently the website administrators are Paula Canning, and Robyn Pollack. We will collaborate with requests to join the site as a family member by vetting the individual out thru various ancestry and public record sites to be sure they are in fact "family". Living persons will be visible, as the website is now a member only site. The exception is CHILDREN UNDER 21 years old. They will be shown only as 'Daughter' or 'Son' with no personal information, such as birth date or birth order.*

* Note: If you would like to see ‘child’ instead of son/daughter, or you would like additional information shown for your child under 21, such as birth order, birth date or name, please send an e-mail or message to Pamela Hochstadt Keller at pamrk39@gmail.com, specifying what information can/can't be visible on the website for your child. Please specify the child's name(s) in your request.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
